this isn't just a small problem, its a huge problem. something has to be done. maybe we should start punishing some of these people. what would they think about that????‬‏

the company you keep

everybody should know that the company you keep can and will say something about a person. if someone comes over to your house and gets high,,,some people would assume that you got high too; no matter if you did or didn't..... lets say you didn't though; and a cop comes to your house looking for one of your friends, with a warrant for his arrest. he's there, they find dope on him, arrest him, and take him away. lets say there were two other people at your house too. they don't arrest them, they ask them a few questions and tell them to leave. after everybody leaves the cops stick around, and start asking you questions. they want to know where the dope came from, they wanted a name. also letting you know that if you didn't cooperate they were going to arrest you and take your baby away. arrangements are made to go to the police station to talk. what can you tell them that they don't already know about in this crooked little county?so you don't have any thing to tell them. they say they will give you a few days to think about it. Seven days later the police show up at your house with two very educated, and well trained (haha) employees from the okmulgee county DHS. they take your baby. (i might add without a court order or warrant or any form of identification, personal or professional) . they take your baby away somewhere and you do not know where. on a friday afternoon no less. the baby was in no danger, or they would have taken the baby when they were there before. the living conditions were clean and safe. the baby was clean, happy and healthy. they did not arrest the mother and she did not test positive for any drugs.
WHAT IN THE HELL DOES THAT LOOK LIKE TO YOU. i didn't know that lack of cooperation with a cop was an endangerment to an infant. did you??????

Starting over again, whether if is a result of a divorce, or death of a spouse, or the loss of a job after many long years, can be painful to experience. Starting again, has caused many a hardship, anxiety, separation or depression. We all, at one time or another, have had to pick ourselves up and start again, even if the cause was injury that resulted in changing sports. Once finally accept these changes as a part of life can we once again move forward.We only live once,and we can't live in the past forever.

Steps

Accept the fact that changes have to be made in your life. It happens to everyone, so you're not alone. Just take one big breath and think a little bit before you take action.
Recognize what caused the changes. If it is a marital problem, where did the problem start? Could it have been avoided, or can you recognize it and make changes so that it does not happen again.
Read self-help books. Learn about relationships and find information that applies to your situation.
Admit that you have lost your job, and sit down and think about what other type of work you may be eligible for or been trained in. If you cannot find a job, then learn a trade. Take a night course, an aptitude test, or think about what you always wanted to do, but never had the chance. Change can be inspirational!
Teach a sport, or become a coach if a sports injury keeps you from participating.
1. Meet others. Attend socials. Do not feel guilt if you ask another to dance. Get on with your life and be happy again.
Divorce can be difficult and can fill you with guilt or you blame the other. Attend help groups, read books, talk to others, but do not carry the pain or the question of whose fault it is within you forever. If you feel you can reconcile, then go for it! But think first, would the second time around be better than the first?.
Forgiveness is essential of others and yourself. If you feel guilt about something that you have done to someone you loved then seek that forgiveness. Own up to what you have done completely. If you have a an addiction of mental illness then admit it to yourself that you need help, listen to those who are there to help and overcome the barriers to your wellness that you have placed in your way.

Tips

Never say, "I should have done things differently," or "if only I had taken them to the doctor sooner." Blame can be like poison in the body. Accept what has happened and go on with your life because you really cannot change a thing.
Finding a new job, or a new sport can be the start of a new life. You may find that it will be the best thing that has happened to you, something you have always wanted to do, but never had the nerve to change.
Rearrange the furniture. Sometimes the memories of a room or a house can be hard to shake. Take an afternoon and rearrange the furniture, pictures, etc. It will start feeling new and fresh and the memories of your new place will be all yours.
Spend time with people that make you feel good and make you feel positive. You may find that old friends are bringing you down. Change the patterns and surround yourself with people who make you feel better or encourage your self improvement. Sometimes the best way to start over is to cut out the negatives.
